What’s the fastest growing foreign language to learn for English speakers? Chinese! More than 1.3 billion people speak Chinese, so why not you?
With over 300 second-grade level spoken English words - and their written Chinese translation - it’s perfect for anyone learning to read and identify new vocabulary in Chinese.
The concept is thus: hear the audio in English and match it with written Chinese. The player first chooses whether she wants to use simplified or traditional Chinese. When the player starts the game, he sees a row of three circles with Chinese words and a row of three audio circles beneath them. Tapping on the bottom circles gives you your audio cue in English. The player must match the audio (a clear human voice) to the written Chinese by dragging circle to circle.
Scoring is based on how many the player gets right in a row, or “streak.” The “best streak” and “current streak” is displayed at the bottom of the screen. This scoring method encourages healthy competition with others as well as motivates players to beat themselves.
Intuitive enough for an elementary student to play independently at home or in the classroom, you can’t beat Second Grade Triple Chinese Match’s practicality and ease of use.
